AUSTRALIAN CIRCUMCISION SO WHAT IS NORMAL?
We found that:
- About 14% of Aussie men are concerned about being circumcised or not, irrespective of age or if they're circumcised or not.
- Australian's under 25 who are circumcised are twice as likely to have body issues than others the same age

However, a lot depends upon when a guy was born. Circumcision was the norm until around 1980, but popularity of the procedure had already reduced in many parts of Australia. During the 1980s and 1990s it continued to loose popularity, but at different rates across different parts of the nation.
Since the year 2000, very few Australian baby boys have been circumcised. Rates have bumped up and down a few percent over the years. However, for births from 2010 onwards more than 9 out of 10 baby boys born nationwide are intact.

Today, almost all circumcisions on boys take place for religious or tribal reasons. For some reason, those boys report much higher rates of body issues about their penis. None of us can help our parent's decisions, and we want all Australian's to feel positive about what they've got!
